Richard Hull, the current owner and principal dentist qualified at the University of Dundee in 1989 and bought 854 Dental Health in July 1999. Since that time we have developed the practice and facilities on the ground floor of this attractive Victorian building. In spring 2013 we refurbished the first floor with new equipment in the dental surgery, a brand new hygiene surgery, waiting room and decontamination suite which can be viewed by our patients through a glass wall.
Following the completion of our upgrade Angelos Sideris joined the practice. Angelos qualified in Greece at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in 2004. After a year in Bristol, Angelos moved to Bournemouth where he has now been living and working for over 9 years.
854 Dental Health provides private dentistry in a relaxed and informative manner. We use digital radiography and photography to aid diagnosis, the images are also invaluable tools for discussion with patients and for illustrating the results of our care.
Richard particularly enjoys preventative and periodontal dentistry and Angelos loves cosmetic and restorative dentistry. They both however cover all aspects of general dentistry and have excellent links to local specialists for those services we do not provide in-house.
Victoria Baxter-Fox and Jessica Harding are our dental hygienist/therapists, they supports our dentists’ care with professional dental cleaning, this enables our patients to better maintain their own dental health between visits and hopefully reduces the need for treatment
We also have three qualified dental nurses, Helen Dailey, Tracy Dargan and Kelly John. Between them this trio provide essential assistance both chair-side and behind the scenes to ensure that all treatment is provided to our patients in the safest possible environment.
Our receptionist Sharon provides valuable administrative support for the business and for Helen who is also the Practice Manager.
Collectively we have over 80 years of general dental practice experience.
All visits to the practice are by appointment however we would always try to see our patients on the same day if they are experiencing pain.
We occupy two floors at 854 Dental Health but we can arrange for all appointments to be carried out on the ground floor, which has easy wheelchair access.
We have toilet facilities on both floors but we do not have a designated disabled toilet.
